SOFA Back to Santa Fe for the 3rd Year

Guests of The Madeleine Bed & Breakfast Inn spend a lot of their time in Santa Fe visiting the many art galleries of Canyon Road, the Railyard and around the Plaza.  Making art viewing that much easier this summer is the return of SOFA, the Sculpture Objects & Functional Art Fair.  Thirty-two dealers will be exhibiting exciting works from August 3-7 at the Santa Fe Convention Center.  Dealers include specialists in historic, antique and contemporary art from Africa, Asia and the Americas as well as contemporary Canadian sculpture, furniture and an array of jewelry.

New this year is the collaboration with The Intuit Show of Folk and Outsider ArtOutsider art refers to work done by self-taught artists and can be incredibly captivating, while Folk Art encompasses decorative or utilitarian work done by indigenous cultures around the world.  The August fair is a great opportunity to see some of the foremost dealers of both Folk and Outsider Art.
