Restaurant Week in Santa Fe

We have been inundated at both  The Madeleine Bed & Breakfast Inn and Hacienda Nicholas Bed & Breakfast Inn with menus for this year's New Mexico Restaurant Week.  With fifty-four participating restaurants in Santa Fe alone, this is a great time for visitors and locals to get out and sample some of the city's highly-acclaimed dining establishments.  Take a veritable tour around the world and enjoy French, Asian, Spanish, Italian, and of course, Southwestern.

The restaurants, ranging from the high-end Compound Restaurant (special three-course menu at $40/person) to the very casual Cowgirl BBQ (three courses for $20/person), will be offering specially-priced menus for both lunch and dinner.  Restaurant Week, which started last night, will run through Sunday, March 13.

Take advantage of special events throughout the week, from wine tastings to chef demonstrations.   There is an interesting line-up of demonstrations and special luncheons available, including: how to make mole at Epazote; a discussion on Italian Food and Wine at Il Piatta; the art of making Caesar Salad at Osteria d'Assis; how to make Vietnamese Spring Rolls at Louie's; and so much more.  

You will want to make reservations in advance for both meals and events, as this is a very popular event.

  1. I know you are very excited about this website and all. I don’t mean to offend you but this is not that good. Most of the space is empty and the blog content is given inside a frame which makes it boring.
