Native American Flute and Spanish Classical Guitar in Santa Fe

Many guests of The Madeleine Bed & Breakfast Inn come to Santa Fe to enjoy the wide variety of world-class musical performances.  These range from the Santa Fe Opera and the Santa Fe Symphony to music that is more indigenous to the area.

One such option is the music of Ronald Roybal, an acclaimed Native American musician best known for his mastery of Native American flute and Spanish-style classical guitar.  Mr. Roybal, a decedent of Pueblo (Tewa) and Spanish Colonial peoples, is a completely self-taught musician.  He is a six-time Native American Music Award Nominee and two-time New Mexico Music Industry Award winner.

Ronald Roybal's often haunting music is inspired by prophesies dating back to the Anasazi Indians, also known as 'the Ancient Ones'.  You too can be transported back in time by treating yourself to a live concert by Mr. Roybal.  He performs every Saturday and Sunday evening, from 7-9pm, in the lounge area of the Amaya Restaurant at Hotel Santa Fe.  You may also want to savor some traditional Native American cuisine while there.  They have a number of excellent prix fixe menus, including a vegetarian option. Weather permitting, the patio is a lovely place to dine.
